Programme Objectives

Programme Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, students will be able to:​
  • demonstrate an understanding of key sociological issues and their importance in Hong Kong;
  • analyze the nature and context of a society, and the reasons and causes of social conduct, as well as the interactions between people and society;
  • integrate and apply knowledge as well as theories of sociology to everyday life; and
  • develop social responsibility for contributing to the betterment of society.
